You could approach friends etc to see if they need any typing, telephoning, anything done from you and negotiate a wage – at least you can trust them. If you need to exercise your foot whilst recovering you could set up a small dog walking round. Be ambitious – start something up for yourself, home baking etc, who knows it may be the start of something big which would make this operation a positive step – and motivate your future.
