Plastering & Drylining jobs?
Is there a shortage of these jobs in London as my brother is finding it hard to get this sort of work. Is there an agencie he can join that anyone knows of, or should he change career?
He should live in cheshire then! my boyfriend has his own plastering company and can’t get any decent plasterers to work for him! you have to be careful there are alot of cow boys out there who say they can plaster but can’t alot of them think coz they have done a four day course in plastering that means they can plaster but thats definitely not the case. I think your brother should stick with the plastering he will find something eventually and when he does the pay is very rewarding if he is good at what he does.

Asumming hes any good and not overcharging, it could be he hasnt got the right kind of exposure.
I would suggest he leaflets the areas that he wishes to work in.
soon find out if theres the work or not.

Plaster is losing favor in homes because it breaks down so easily and will allow a fire to spread through the house faster than sheetrock.

If only he lived up nearer Aberdeen – I have been trying to get a plasterer to skim my two halls, stairway and also my bedroom for nearly 6 years – it is impossible to get anyone
Also – I work for a construction company and I still cant get a plasterer although there are plasterers galore on every site
