    dunno about others, but i use gorilla buckets or sumic, there like rubber/maluble plastic and when the gear drys in em, give em a shake and a wobble and the stuff flakes off, i dunno if the oil afects the plaster here, but we might hame some regulation on it ( like ya not suppose to put fairy liquid in building mortar)

    Hmm Seems that way….I plaster 100 metres+ in a day (8 hours) useing 45 litre gorilla tubs..I might give the oil a go..Make it easyier for the labourers!!

    you should use tallow as a release agent on casting surfaces, I’ve never heard of using vegetable oil..
