I had the same prob, Agree with below, but also try white vinegar diluted in a little warm water.  Use a cotton bud to get into the grooves also neat white spirit and it wont harm yr floor.

		<description>I agree with the last post that you will eventually get it out with water and enough work. Don&#039;t soak the area like you would wet mop a floor, just work with a little water and try to work in small areas at a time rather than wiping over a large area and maybe spreading things to areas where there wasn&#039;t a problem before. I had a similar problem and had to use a stiff toothbrush in the grooves and maybe even a needle in the really fine ones. Just be careful not to scratch off the varnish. (unless you could touch that up without having to strip and redo everything.)
