How can you get dried plaster off carpet?
We were decorating and some plaster got on the carpet and dried. We’ve no idea how to get rid of it!
Plaster is usually easily removed if you wet it down.. spray it with water, scape it off and wash the spot..that should do it..

Hot steam cleaning should loosen it up.It may take some presoaking also to get it started.

I would think some very strong solvent like maybe kerosene or bleach maybe, something that could burn it off. This is too risky for the carpet although it might melt the plaster. I like the hammer answer I saw someone else post better. Use mine as only a last resort.
Wait maybe sand paper, that would not affect the rug, because the rug is soft the plaster is hard.

Pulverize it with a hammer and then vacuum it up.
